The MOMENTUM package in Chemnitz

Since the beginning of 2018, numerous refurbished multi-family-houses of the “Gründerzeit” in good central micro-locations in Chemnitz have been purchased. Currently, the portfolio contains 31 multi-family-houses with a net rent space of approximately 28,000 m². The aim is to build up the MOMENTUM package, which will be hold in the long-term portfolio of our Aaron-Company-Group, to at least 50,000 m² net rent space.

Our own team of craftsmen as well as local specialist companies carry out necessary repairs, renovation and extension work so that all objects are in a very good state of construction and preservation at all times.

A local architectural office has been ordered to meassure all objects completely. The houses are completely surveyed, the floor plans and elevations are digitized and the living areas will be recalculated, all data are available to our property management in the company’s internal data room.

Our tenants are in the middle of our efforts. Our property management staff are reducing vacancy rates and successively improving the quality of life in our houses. This also includes (wherever possible) installing fiber-optic-connections and switching to district heating. Properties with own parking spaces, will be fitted out with electric charging stations to enable our tenants to charge their electric vehicles.

Our rental team is trying to choose new tenants, who are fitting to the existing harmonious house communities and we execute tenant satisfaction surveys on a regular base.
